HORROR GENRE MOVIES……………..WHO NEEDS THEM?????????????

I’m talking about action, adventure, animated, slashing bodies, comedy, gothic, paranormal, supernatural, dead people/zombie, scientific, sci fi horror movies etc etc. I believe that watching horror movies lets some evil into your life.

First of all, the devil and evil are very real things. Spiritual warfare, the constant fight between Satan and his legions and God and his angels over human souls, is a very real thing. Demonic possession and haunted houses are real things.  Hollywood does a very good job of dramatizing these situations. As a matter of fact, Hollywood has become so bold and shameless that their movies are becoming more and more graphic, more bloodthirsty and more about evil possession, leaving no boundaries.  I wouldn’t be surprised if it were art imitating real life or even the life of a satanist, evil/demonic possessed individual. Being paranoid about evil constantly, especially if brought upon by a movie, can lead to an obsession with evil, which can lead to allowance of that evil in one’s life. Evil can be transferred from one person to the other.

Even if you are a person in Christ, would you want to be harassed by voices in your head coming from demons? Would you know what prayers to say to cast the demons out? I would say most people wouldn’t.

I have seen a couple of movie sequels to some old movie originals of late. For one, I was shocked at the difference 10 years can make. Second, the sequel to the 30 years old movie, was depressing and I had to leave after half an hour into the movie.

The very few horror movies I have seen, (some unintentional, not knowing the extent of the horror) made life to me seem worthless, they made me feel that there was no point to this life, no purpose, no matter what I did to try to change it. The destruction and horror of everyday life in the movie,  put me in a state of depression, they instilled fear into me, they started playing on my mind. I had to pray and cast out the evil.

Who needs this stuff? Isn’t life bad enough as it is? Isn’t watching the news enough to make you want to get into a bunker and never come out??????

When my kids were growing up I wouldn’t take them or let them watch horror of any kind. I protected them from all this, I thought life dishes out enough problems to us without adding horror to it.

I understand the adrenaline rush that comes from the music building up and then something popping out. But really? Is it worth the sleeplessness and disturbance to your emotional wellbeing?

Surely one can get an adrenaline rush some other perfectly innocent, healthy, wholesome ways, eg. walking along the beach, shopping, exercising, competing in sports, climbing a bridge etc…etc….

Are you hearing voices in your head that keep you awake? If they’re from the other side, you can be sure that they will get louder and louder, that they will cause you a disturbance and even lack of sleep or even suicide.

We need to focus on what is pure, praiseworthy and what is pleasing to God. We need to live a wholesome life and God will catch up with us and reward us with the desires of our hearts.

JESUS TAKES AWAY THE PAIN THE OTHERS CAN’T REACH

WE ALL LIVE IN A PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL WORLD. YOU MUST REALISE THAT WE ARE IN A SPIRITUAL BATTLE, A BATTLE THAT WE HAVE TO FIGHT EVERYDAY!!!!!!

BECAUSE OF THE ”FALL OF MANKIND,” THE ENEMY WILL DO EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO DERAIL YOU, TO CONFUSE YOU, TO PUT OBSTACLES IN YOUR WAY, TO BRING FEAR AND DOUBT INTO YOUR LIFE ALL THE TIME. HIS MISSION IS TO KEEP YOU AWAY FROM GOD. JUST THE MENTION OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST WILL SEND PANIC INTO THE DEMONIC WORLD.

BEFORE JESUS CAME SATAN RULED THE WORLD! THE WORLD HAD GOTTEN SO WICKED BUT, GOD SO LOVED US  THAT HE SENT HIS ONLY SON JESUS CHRIST TO REDEEM US. AT THAT POINT JESUS RESTORED THE BALANCE AND NOW BECAUSE OF THE CROSS,WE HAVE THE POWER OF JESUS TO HEAL US. SATAN LOST HIS POSITION AND HAS DECLARED WAR. WAR AGAINST HUMANITY!

This is heavy stuff and I am sorry if I sound over the top, you might think I’m crazy but it doesn’t matter to me, because my purpose is to heighten your awareness and understanding so that you may experience healing and be empowered to be the best version of yourself.

Since I know this, I really don’t want to keep it to myself, because I care about people and their salvation is too important.

So you’ve got wounds, I’ve got wounds, yes!!!!!! we’ve all got them! NO ONE IS IMMUNE. Some are small, some are big. Some just niggle at us while others run deep, so deep that we suppress them because they are too painful to bring them to the surface.

The wounds we have may have been passed onto to us from our parents generational line. They may be words that have been spoken over us from family members, friends or work colleagues. They may have also come from curses, from promises or words that we have spoken over ourselves. For example, I’m never going to fall in love with another man again! I’ll never trust anyone! I’m not good at this!!!! I can’t do this!! I’ll never become………… etc……………..words spoken go into the spirit world and they become legal and binding!!!!   Of course this allows legal entry for the enemy to use these words to harass you.

So then, we stumble, we fall, we make mistakes, if we continually and habitually do the wrong thing over and over again it mostly likely could be harassment. We may become fearful of other people, untrusting or we just shut people out, we avoid things, we go without, we make excuses etc., etc.,

The wounds we carry may be a result of sin, sin that we have chosen or sin from the result of other people. Now, I’m not professing that you play the blame game here. It’s a way of identifying and understanding  your position and the work of the enemy in our lives.

FORGIVENESS AND REPENTANCE PLAY A HUGE ROLE IN THIS AS THEY DIMINISH THE POWER OF THE ENEMY

The wounds we have may manifest in mood swings, restlessness, sadness, headaches, sleeplessness and more……depending on how big they are. Certain behaviours may be triggered when we hear a word or experience that will take us back to the point of the wound. Often we don’t know or can’t explain why we feel or behave in a particular way, suicidal thoughts,  sleeplessness, a deep sadness, inability to relate to others. THESE FEELINGS WILL STAY WITH YOU UNTIL YOU OPEN YOUR HEART TO JESUS AND INVITE HIM IN to the point of the wound..   TO SHOW YOU AND HEAL IT

In John 14:6 it is written….. Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.

So I say to you live your best life now, not live unhappily, not live in fear, not live in darkness and loneliness because Jesus knows every little thing about you because He died to know you. This information has helped many people I know and I pray that it will help all those who have a heart for God and Jesus Christ.

I know the testimony below is hard to believe. Freddie’s sins of the father affected him in a deep way, he became a different person. His choices led him into a spiritual battle everyday. Freddie’s story is extreme but when words are spoken and you invite the enemy in, you have opened up that door and unless you get help and pray the name of Jesus Christ, the enemy will not leave. With Jesus as Lord in your life, the enemy has lost the battle.

JESUS IS LORD!!!!! ALL POWER IS YOURS ALMIGHTY FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT. THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA.
