INNER BEAUTY SHINES THROUGH !!!!

We are made in the image of God

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.(Genesis 1:27)

These images that I have posted below, show me the inner beauty that radiates from Jesus’ face and eyes.

I’d like to think that beauty shines out of people and this is certainly true of these images of Christ. What makes up the inside from the soul and spirit reflects who and what you are on the outside.

If there is hatred inside people, it will manifest itself in how they present themselves to the world. The way they dress, the way they put on their make up, the words they choose to speak, the gestures they use, all become the non-verbals that speak volumes of the person.  I know that social media would have you look and think a certain way but they’re not interested in pleasing or respecting their creator God. They are not interested in attracting  God’s favour. In 1 Corinthians it says… “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” 

People can become confused because they think they have to dress a certain way to belong but God says in Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but  women and men who fear the Lord are to be praised.

1 Timothy 2:9 Likewise also that women and men should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire.

For example… take the archangel Lucifer, the name, Lucifer, means ‘day star,’ or ‘son of the morning.’ Many recognize it as an alternate name of Satan, the fallen angel. But prior to his downfall, Lucifer was a magnificent being, his beauty was incomparable, he was established by God to be the angel of worship, one whose ministry surrounded the heart of heaven. Lucifer was created to dwell eternally in the throne room of heaven, in the very presence of God (Ezekiel 28:14). Of course his appearance changed because He no longer reflected God’s beauty.

So then, what is it about a meeting of people  where we either warm to someone or not within the first five minutes of meeting them? How can we make such a quick judgement? Could it be whether they reflect the inner beauty that comes from God?  So I say, focus on what is good, beautiful, praiseworthy and pleasing to God and let that inner beauty speak for you.  God will reward your efforts.

Psalm 37:4⁴ Seek your happiness in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desire.

Too scary for words!!!!!

Where are you God??????

Often when we come across difficult times and face the darkest days of our lives and can’t see the end, we ask ourselves where are you God???? This beautiful reflection called “FOOTPRINTS” which has been immortalised in plates, cards etc…..based on the story of Moses,  is so pertinent to all of us. It has been my strength.

If you submit yourself to God and allow God to do His work in your life, He will show you His mighty power in due course.

Read the poem footprints below. Then recall the many times that He has taken you through the difficult times Thank Him for carrying you all the way…though His footprints may not be seen!

WHY PRAY?

When we pray to God the Father, we invoke the Great Power of the Almighty designer of all things seen and unseen and then united with His Son Jesus Christ who, being of one substance with the Father, was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary. Jesus gave up His life as a ransom to buy your life, Jesus the one and only who lived and died so that you may live, will lead us to salvation.

So when you pray to God you have all the heavenlies aligned at your fingertips so that you can attract God’s favour and get the best possible outcome.

Mary the great intercessor of all, prays for you to Jesus Her Son, to make all things possible. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit three in one.

Make no mistake, Heaven is real and so is Hell. If there was no Hell Lucifer and all the other angels who left with him and who rebelled against God, would not have been condemned to Hell. Some people think that Heaven is automatic if we repent. That’s not enough!!!!! Your fate will be decided by the life you’ve lived. Jesus said, in Matthew 12:37 “for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”Jesus Christ is our Hope and our salvation, He is the only one that matters and alone in judgement with Him, your fate will be decided. Jesus is Lord.

Father Steven Scheier  died and was condemned to hell but then Mary intervened and changed everything.

 

 

Pantheism is the belief that God is everything and everything is God-NOT SO!!!!

This belief that God is in everything is misleading. Yes! God has created everything but not everything has chosen to be in union with God. Not all that is in the world is God. Satan, his demons and evil are also in the world. They inflict pain and destruction upon God’s creatures which does not come from our Almighty, All powerful All knowing Father God.

 

1 John 4:1-4 The True Spirit and the False Spirit

4 My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere. ² This is how you will be able to know whether it is God’s Spirit: anyone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ came as a human being has the Spirit who comes from God. ³ But anyone who denies this about Jesus does not have the Spirit from God. The spirit that he has is from the Enemy of Christ; you heard that it would come, and now it is here in the world already. But you belong to God, my children, and have defeated the false prophets, because the Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world.

All that is the world is not God. Evil exists in the world because God’s given man a free will, because Satan and his demons operate in the world and they turned away from God. Pantheism makes no distinction between God, Satan, demons or any form of evil even humans. Humans and everything in this world are not equal to God. Putting everything into a minestrone does not make lasagna.  If that were the case, then you and I are God. We can, in effect, create our own reality. Well that’s wrong!!!! Because the only real truth is the truth that God has revealed through the prophets and His Son Jesus Christ.

The First and Second Commandments state: “You shall have no other gods before Me [God]” and, “You shall not make for yourself a carved image … you shall not bow down to them nor serve them” (Exodus 20:3-5).

It is important to get rid of idols and only worship the true one God, the God of Jesus Christ.

BECAUSE I LOVED YOU FIRST……………………….

The Lord says in the Scriptures, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you.”(Hebrews 13:5,6).

You’re never alone, there is nothing you can do that will stop me loving you, you are the apple of my eye and I want you to call on me and stay with me and I will never desert you…..

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND NOT YOUR WORRIES!

  Pray and give your troubles to God. I know that there will be days of tribulation but they will pass. Not believing in God’s abundance gives insult to God. Give thanks for His Son Jesus, because Jesus is everything……………..now as I’m writing this,  the prayer to St. Teresa of Avila comes to mind because it has got me through some tough times. So here it is. God works through others.

 

……………………………….and being thankful and humble brings glory to God.

FAMILY DAY TODAY-THERE IS JOY IN STAYING TOGETHER

Life and education begin at home. The home is the primary and most vital factor in a child’s education and development into a mature and stable member of society. The first encounter with God for a newborn child is through the family. Children learn by listening and watching the parents, so good modelling is paramount.

When God gave the commandments to Moses, He directly devoted two of His ten great laws to protecting family relationships. In the 5th and 7th commandments, we see how important honoring parents and for parents to love, care and respect one another is, in maintaining a Christian family relationship.

The saying goes that a family who eats together stays together. We had lunch with my mother, coffee with my brother and ice-cream with my daughters and partner.

A great way to share and catch up with mutual respect for one another and then praising God for the gift of each other.(Exodus 20:12-14)

ASTRONOMY IS WHAT GOD HAS CREATED- NOT ASTROLOGY

God created the sun, stars,  moon and planets. They show His power and majesty. The heavens are God’s “handiwork” (Psalm 8:3; 19:1). He has all the stars numbered and named (Psalm 147:4).First of all, The big bang which got everything in motion, is the work of God, founded by a catholic priest Georges Lemaître. God’s positioning of planet Earth, is not just mere coincidence, where out of all the planets, Earth just happened to be the one and only with life in it. NO!!!!!! it was by intelligent design that everything came into being. How could an eye for example, have been formed by natural selection? Then just coming together, arranged so that all the cells and DNA were formed for vision, a big ask to believe in such things??

The Bible also teaches that God arranged the stars into recognizable groups that we call constellations. God has used the stars as physical evidence of his work here on Earth, the star of Bethlehem where our saviour Jesus Christ was born is one.  The constellation Leo can be seen as a celestial depiction of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5), and Virgo could be a reminder of the virgin who bore Christ. The serpent as satan. The Bible says that stars, along with the sun and moon, were given for “signs” and “seasons” (Genesis 1:14); that is, they were meant to mark time for us.

“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves…” —Psalm 100:3

Astrology is the “interpretation” of an assumed influence- the stars (and planets) that exert on human destiny. This is a false belief. Horoscopes are the work of humans, humans are imperfect. How could the predictions of a star sign pertaining to millions of people all at the same time made by a human with imperfections and biases about the lives of many be true?  God is perfect, He never intended to group or brand humans like that? It’s our choices and actions that affect us. Believing in astrology, horoscopes, clairvoyants, tarot cards is very dangerous as it gives into self fulfilling prophecies or giving the will and mind permission to allow something to happen to you or giving the enemy permission to play on your mind and cause you to believe the lie.

Look up to the sky, wonder and marvel at God’s majesty and beauty instead!!!!

UNLUCKY FRIDAY 13th-A LOT OF CRAP

JESUS DIDN’T TEACH US THAT !  

THE CHURCH DOESN’T BELIEVE THAT !

IT IS MERE SUPERSTITION!!!!

 

I have had a good day today, the sun was out, the weather was glorious and then I got some great results and feedback that I wasn’t expecting and I owe it all to God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.  What superstition????

Don’t be duped by superstition. Fear, doubt, anxiety, panic etc…. doesn’t come from God, it’s the enemy’s trick or ploy to detract you from the truth.  God doesn’t say..” Today is Friday the 13th and I’m going to play a trick on my children because I want to hurt them and make them cry.” Yes! God gives us a free choice! Yes! Bad things happen because God has given us all a free will. When evil happens it is the result of the sin caused by other men(or women).

I say concentrate on what is good and praiseworthy, stay awake, pray and give your fear, doubt, anxiety, panic etc….to Jesus, because your life is precious in God’s eyes and it was paid at a price. God bless you and your families today.

 

KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST, BECAUSE ADAM AND EVE DIDN’T!

We are at war, a spiritual war

Remember who you are. The devil went after Adam and Eve’s identity .“The moment you eat of it  your eyes will be opened”…said the serpent. Adam should have known the word and known who he was .. He should have said.. “I am already like God.”

Adam and Eve had forgotten who they were. 

In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus faces an “agony” of His own as He begins a much more serious contest, a battle with the devil for the salvation of the world. Poised at the starting line of this redemptive contest, Jesus, like a runner, sweats profusely, manifesting the intensity of the ordeal He is about to undergo.

Back to Paradise

Finally, in this scene we can see Jesus reliving the test of Adam and proving Himself to be a faithful Son of God precisely where Adam was unfaithful. For example, Adam was tested by the devil in the Garden of Eden, and Jesus is tested in the Garden of Gethsemane. Adam did not trust the Father in his time of testing, preferring his own will to God’s; whereas Jesus says to the Father, “not as I will, but as thou wilt.” Adam’s disobedience led him to the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, while Christ’s prayer of obedience leads Him to the wood of the cross— which Christians later would call the new Tree of Life.

Restoration

As the New Adam, Jesus takes on the effects of Adam’s sin. As a result of the first sin, Adam became ashamed in his nakedness, was expelled from Paradise, and received a number of curses. God said to Adam, “[C]ursed is the ground because of you; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth to you . . . In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (Gen. 3:17-19). Adam’s labor would no longer be easy. Now he had to toil in sweat, and the ground would often produce only thorns and thistles instead of fruit. The greatest curse of all was death. Adam no longer would live forever but would return to the ground at the end of his life.

Taking on the curses of Adam, Jesus sweats intensely in Gethsemane as He clings to His Father’s will. On Good Friday He is crowned with thorns, stripped naked, and nailed to a Cross. His body returns to the ground as He is buried in a garden near Calvary (cf. Jn. 19:41). Yet, while dying on the Cross, Jesus announces that He is returning to Paradise and beginning to take the sons of Adam with Him. One of the first to enter His Kingdom is the “good thief” to whom Jesus says, “[T]oday you will be with me in Paradise” (Lk. 23:43).

New beginning

As the New Adam, Jesus is faithful where the first Adam was unfaithful and takes on the curses which have plagued the human family since the fall. In His passion and death, Christ thus undoes the first sin and restores the sons of Adam to the Father.

What to do……

Know the tactics of your enemy. The enemy will offer you knowledge, freedom and peace etc…. but they are not his to give. The enemy will feed you lies and accuse you of many things, one of them is that you are not good enough or that you don’t have what it takes. The enemy will hold you captive. The enemy will feed you lies and twist the truth. Jesus said (in John 8:32) the truth will set you free. Guard your thoughts. Know your weaknesses and have a plan to fight the temptation. Be transformed by the truth. Renounce the lies and the enemy will flee from you.
